"My name is Janice Gray and I have worked at Lynden Manor since September 1998. My position is Assistant Administrator, as well as Accountant. As Assistant Administrator I help in overseeing the day to day operations of the facility to ensure everything runs smoothly. Also, I do the accounting and financial reporting of the Company. I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of my work and strive to make the residents’ stay at Lynden Manor the best it can be."

"Hello! My name is Heather and I am honored to be coming on board here as the new Resident Services Manager. I have over 30 years of experience as a nurse and have enjoyed gaining new skills and knowledge in various healthcare settings. Seniors are a big part of my career and life. I spend a lot of my leisure time with my mom, who is also my best friend. We like to explore second hand stores, antiques and waterfronts. I have three grown children and am a proud “mema” to 5 beautiful grandkids. Needless to say, they are my heart and I spend as much time with them as possible. I look forward to this new adventure and working with residents and their families as well as the staff here at Lynden Manor. "

I bring 20 year's experience in long term care social services, (most recently 5 years at Christian Health Care Center).I assist potential residents with information and or a tour of our beautiful community. I'am also invovlved wiht the senior community and outreach programs here in whatcom county. I look forward to meeting each resident and their families here at Lynden Manor and developing relationships which will enhance their stay and lifestyle."

"Hello, my name is Ted Howard. I am the Director of food services here at Lynden Manor. I started in August 2016. I have had the pleasure to work in many different facets of the culinary field working in establishments such as Casino’s to Assisted Living/Skilled nursing facilities. My goal is to not change anything here at the Manor, which already has a very high quality of food and service but to expand on it and bring new and exciting things to the kitchen here at Lynden Manor. My team and I in the dining room and kitchen, are devoted to presenting each resident with quality food and service that take you from the comforts and memories of you own home, to the dining experience of an upscale restaurant. "Hello, my name is Julie Jakobitz, and I am the Activity Director Here at Lynden Manor. After three years of full-time schooling, I am happy to report that I recently graduated from Western with a bachelor’s degree in Human Services. I have a background in leading activities for seniors as well as caregiving in long-term care but took a long hiatus from formal work to be a stay-at-home mom and foster parent. My family and I have resided in Lynden for the past 11 years, but I am originally from the Bellevue/Issaquah area. I am excited to be celebrating my 20th wedding anniversary in October to my best friend and confidant, Jonathan. We have 5 lively children ranging in age from 8 to 17 years old. My faith is an important part of who I am, and I have a passion for social justice and serving others. Additionally, I love to swim, bike and practice yoga. Since I grew up on a lake, being at the beach is my happy place. It is my honor to be able to serve you as Activities Director and I welcome your input and suggestions regarding activity planning. "

I started here at Lynden Manor in 2004 and have enjoyed being part of the Lynden Manor Family. I feel that I have a passion for helping people, especially the elderly. In my off time, I enjoy golfing, yard work, and most of all, spending time with my wife Amy and our dog George."
